DID HE HEAR YOU

“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”
Psalm 5:3 KJV

When we wake up in the morning, if we will listen with our heart the first thing we will hear is our Heavenly Father saying to us “I love you”. Does He hear us say to Him “I love You” as soon as we wake up or do we read the newspaper first? How it must hurt Him when we read the newspaper before talking to Him.

What about you? Did you tell God that you love Him as soon as you woke up this morning or did you drink a cup of coffee and read the newspaper first? Just as we want Him to tell us that He loves us, so He wants us to tell Him that we love Him. God has feelings too and it hurts Him when we ignore Him.

Heavenly Father, please forgive us for not telling You that we love You as soon as we wake up in the morning. Instead of turning on the television as soon as we get up, may we fall on our knees and thank You and praise You for being such a loving, compassionate and forgiving Father. Amen.
