JESUS IS THE HEALER

”And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”
Luke 10:9 KJV

Nothing makes me any angrier than to hear someone say “It is because of me this person was healed”. I submit to you on the authority of the Word of God that Jesus is the healer. It is not us that do the healing; it is Jesus working through us. How it must hurt Him and break His heart when we say we healed someone.

Not only does our precious Saviour heal us spiritually and physically, He also heals us emotionally. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). We are to comfort and encourage one another but only Jesus can heal our broken heart. He really loves us and cares about us.

I don’t know what burdens and heartaches you have but Jesus knows and His heart is moved with compassion for you. You are very precious to Him. If you are discouraged today, allow Him to pick you up and carry you through all the dark valleys of your life. He will dry your tears with tender kisses.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Jesus to die on the cross for us not only to heal us spiritually but also to heal our broken heart. Jesus, I love You with all of my heart. Thank You for dying for my sins and for healing my broken heart. You are so precious, dear Jesus. Amen.
